How we count the population

India is mapped as a grid of ~200 m cells, each with its own headcount, and your radius sums the real cells inside it — never radius × average density. Cells come from Google Open Buildings footprints scaled by GHSL height, carrying WorldPop totals blended with Meta's HRSL at a ratio tuned per density band, then tagged to 2025 pincode boundaries (localities from the India Post directory). Calibrated against ground-truth data for hundreds of pincodes — estimates, not a census.

Frequently asked questions

  • Our mentorship platform connects practicing ophthalmologists with India's leading Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) through hybrid Specialty Development Programs (SDPs). These programs combine in-person skill training with online learning, enabling doctors to master advanced skills while continuing their clinical practice.

  • Our programs are designed for practicing ophthalmologists, early-career specialists and fresh pass outs who wish to deepen their expertise without stepping away from their day-to-day practice.

  • The SDP is a supplemental, practice-oriented model and not an alternative to formal fellowships. Our programs focus on applied mentorship, hands-on exposure, and real-world skill enhancement. They are designed for doctors who already practice independently but want to expand into high-value, high-in-demand, complex sub-specialties.
